Oakridge Baseball Rookie Development

This program was developed for kids 7 years old (Born in 2009) as a way to develop the proper skills that will allow players to progress and excel as they move from T-Ball to Rookieball and beyond.

The Rookie development season will progress throughout the season starting with T-Ball games, moving into coach pitch and finishing with a pitching machine. Unlike T-ball these games will follow baseball rules and will play with outs. The goal is to have a league where kids can play and learn the game of baseball against other kids of there same age rather than trying to move up to play rookieball at a young age where the risk of injury and player frustration goes up because they are playing against older kids.

Oakridge will run this league in conjunction with North London Baseball. The season will run from late May until the first week of August. This is a House League program that will stress fair and equal play for everyone. All games will be played weeknights @ Emily Carr with activity beginning at 6:15 p.m. and concluding by 8:00 p.m.

Game Times / Location
Mondays and Fridays, 6:15 PM at Norwest/Emily Carr - Combined league with North London baseball.
