Tincaps jump on Sarnia early and coast to 17-2 win
Submitted By Korey Richardson on Tuesday, September 1, 2015
London West jumped out to an early lead on Sarnia and captured a 17-2 victory on Monday at Oakridge Upper.

With 13 runs in the first three innings, London West left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Roman Sawchuk during the first inning and an RBI double by Cooper Martin, an error, an RBI single by Cohen Mizak, an RBI single by Isaac Metron, a fielder's choice, and an error in the second inning helped the Tincaps put some runs on the board early.

Cooper racked up three RBIs on two hits for London West.

Sarnia's lineup had no answer for Lukas Richardson. Lukas gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

London West piled on six more runs in the bottom of the third. Cooper kicked things off with a double, scoring Logan Vandierendonck.

The Tincaps increased its lead with four runs in the fifth. A error scored Isaac to start the scoring in the inning.
