MPW LDBA Playoffs
Submitted By Lukas Richardson 2.2 (2020) on Tuesday, August 15, 2017
The MPW LDBA Playoff will begin this weekend, being hosted by the London Tecumsehs.  The schedule is based on the 6 team OBA format and can be found HERE

Our website schedule will be updated accordingly as time permits throughout the weekend.

Tournament Detail information:

Welcome to the 2017 LDBA Minor PeeWee playoffs being held this weekend August 18th to Aug 20th at Mornington in London. The London Tecumsehs are happy to host all of the teams that have battled so hard throughout the league this year.

Please find attached the updated bracket for this weekend. No game times have been changed but teams have been entered with their seed and opponent based on the final standings. Looks like some great match ups.

Please familiarize yourself with the playoff rules to avoid any confusion. Please note that the higher seed WILL be the home team until the finals. Home team will be the official scorekeeper and visiting team the official pitch counter. Both teams MUST sign off on both the scorecard and pitch count trackers after each game in order to finalize the game. Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Head Convener immediately. We ask that both the pitch counters and scorekeepers meet between each inning to ensure both teams are in agreement with up to date stats.

Andrew Angus will be our Head Convener all weekend and will be on site. If you have any questions please feel free to visit him at Tournament Headquarters at Mornington.

I would also ask that each team vacate the diamond immediately after handshakes following each game. This will allow our volunteers to get a head start on preparing the diamonds for the next game and allow other teams to take the bench.

If you have any questions before this weekends tournament please let me know. I can easily be reached via text.

Here is hoping the weather is good and we see some great ball. Regardless of record in the regular season, any team can win on any given day so good luck to all the teams participating.
